How to check your CPP payment in My Service Canada Account

What the official account shows and why you never need an unfamiliar website.

The most reliable way to see what the January 2026 adjustment did to your own payment is not an advertisement or a calculator — it is the government’s own account. My Service Canada Account (MSCA) shows your actual CPP information.

What My Service Canada Account shows

For people already receiving CPP, MSCA lets you view payment details and past payments. It also provides information about tax deductions taken at source and relevant CPP records. That makes it the right place to confirm what you actually receive, rather than relying on a national figure.

How to get access

You sign in to MSCA through the Government of Canada’s secure login. If you do not yet have access, the official site explains how to register. You do not need any third-party service, and you should never enter your Service Canada credentials on an unfamiliar website.

Comparing two payments

A practical way to see the adjustment is to look at a payment from late 2025 and one from early 2026. The difference reflects the January indexation — although other changes, such as a change in tax withholding or in your personal circumstances, can also appear in the amounts. If the figures do not line up with a simple 2.0%, those other factors are usually the reason.

Staying safe

There is no separate application for the ordinary annual adjustment, and no fee to receive it. Avoid websites or messages asking for your Social Insurance Number, bank login or a payment. For anything about your individual payment, use MSCA or contact Service Canada through its official channels.
